Observation on PBL experiment

When we were observing the rose and carnation ,there is blue dye on the petals.But there was only a little bit of red dye. We think because one side cut too thin and the otherside cut too thick.We should cut the stem more accurately in future. If we cut more accurately, the flower would be half blue and half red we think............................................................
